Well, good intentions haven't gotten this blog set up for the past 3 months now but "nesting" is going to finally get it done. With the new baby only 4 weeks away, I figured it was now or never. I have completed most of my "to do" list that included kitchen / dining room painting, cleaning, organizing, making the baby bedding and Dakota's 3rd b-day party so I am moving on to tackling the Blog! It really will be a better way to keep family and friends informed on the ins and outs of our life here in North Carolina.
The past 7 months has been filled with one adventure after another. After being recalled back into the Marine Corps, we re-enlisted and received orders to Camp LeJeune North Carolina. We moved out here in April and Mark was immediately sent to a school in Texas for the month of May. After his return, we decided that I should go to K9 school during the month of July since we didn't see another opportunity in the near future for me to do so. I returned the first of August and we actually got to spend a couple of months together as a family. Then Mark was sent to another school for the month of October in Yuma, Arizona. Hopefully he will be here for a while...or at least until his deployment that is scheduled for March of '09. Marine Corps life has proven as unpredictable as we remembered it being but we are always up for new adventures.
