Bodee had another great day today. We actually were able to bring up some of his clothes so he didn't have to be naked anymore. He keeps his knees tucked up under himself so he doesn't fully extend out in them but they are perfect for him nonetheless! They are increasing his feedings each day to try to reach 50 cc's at a time and then eventually 100 cc's. Today he was able to move from 10 cc's up to 20 cc's which is good news. We were also waiting for him to poop again and lucky for me, he took care of that while I was in to see him. I never thought I would be so excited to change a poopie diaper again. I am sure that the glycerin helped out a bit but I was thinking maybe they could have given that while Mark was on duty :). All that to say, Bodee is still moving quickly in the right direction. Last report was that he had all of his 9pm feeding through the bottle rather than the tube. He was at about half and half all day today so this was great news. The nurse has also talked to the surgeons about the possibility of transferring Bodee back to the Naval Hospital so we can be closer to home. This of course won't happen until he is completely stable and only working on the feeding. One step closer!!!

oh Kristen, I'm praying for you're little Bodee! We actually have some dear friends who have a nine-month-old son on the heart transplant list at Duke. Can't wait to hear the next good update! :)
Kristen I am trying to tell by the pictures but can't quite tell. Are his eyes turning brown like yours? Love you much! I am glad their are so many leaps and bounds!!
Hey, Mark and Kristen,
Our little cowboy looks fantastic. He may actually have to comb his hair out of his eyes! I'm so glad to hear that he may be able to be moved back to Jacksonville and closer to friends and Santa. Kristen, does Bodee have a stocking yet? He'll soon be riding Kai around the house. No horses yet, Mark! I miss ya'll terribly and will see you soon. I'm glad Pam and David are coming in tomorrow to the little one!
I love you so much,
Mom She-Sha - Sheila
He looks great! You are all doing so awesome and he is blessed to be in your family.
