Well Bodee finally got to eat yesterday. The nurses said they were able to feed some through the bottle and some through the feeding tube. He hasn't quite grasped the concept of the bottle but he sure tries hard. Apparently he has a bit of a temper and the bottle isn't giving him the milk fast enough. I was able to feed him last night with the bottle and despite his frustration, he ate all 10cc's (no wonder he is starving) from the bottle. Then he fell fast asleep and we snuggled with him until we had to leave so Dakota could go to bed. It is so hard to leave each night but we know that he is in great hands. We spoke with the Fellow that was working last night and she continued to talk about how amazing he is doing. She showed us his latest chest x-rays and his lung is looking good. It is definitely smaller than the other one but it doesn't seem to be hindering his breathing so far. We continue to be encouraged by his progress but still haven't heard any word on the timeline for how long he will have to be there. I do know this, that boy will be able to sleep through anything once he gets home!
