Okay for all of you that keep insisting that Bodee is going to have brown eyes, look again. They still seem to go back and forth to me but all of the pictures we have taken recently have made them look super blue. I have attached a big picture so hopefully you can look close for yourself :).

Daddy and Brenda left on Saturday and we had a great visit with them. They rented a condo down on N. Topsail Beach so of course we spent most of our time down there. I actually specifically remember being in the hospital with Bodee, and getting tears in my eyes because I longed to be able to hold him on the deck of their condo when they came and we didn't know if he would be home by then. Well, he was and we took advantage of it. The weather was chilly but I still took the time to show him the ocean and how beautiful it was. It is definitely the little things you take for granted...but we won't be doing that with this little one. Here is a picture of a sunset (or the remnants of one) on the beach outside the condo.

The night I took this picture was also the night that Mark and his friend Brian decided it would be a good idea to check out the surf. Wetsuits were a must and I could only stay outside to take pics for a few minutes because I was so cold. Of course they said the water was warm once they got in but I don't believe that for a second. Tough guys I guess. We think the temp was around 37 degrees outside but the waves looked good and they didn't care! They are the two dots in the pic below :).

This next picture is of Dakota doing something she got addicted to while staying at the condo. Something about wrapping string around absolutely everything made her happy. It was her own little spiderweb. My dad enjoyed untangling all of the string...the first 2 times...but after that the scissors came out :). She has really enjoyed having all of her grandparents out here. Hopefully we can keep her entertained enough to keep her from being sad that everyone is gone.
And lastly for now as I am waiting for my dad to send me the rest, here is a picture of Bodee representing his roots :). Grandma Brenda bought him a Mavericks outfit and I put his "Shaq" shoes on him that were from Ardelle & Heidi. I won't have many opportunities to have him in his sport outfits as Mark is set on him being a cowboy...so, I thought I would do it while I can :). He is definitely all boy!

Oh my God that last pic is awesome.
Great seeing you guys this week. Thanks so much for the USMC onesie. I still have a little weight to lose to fit into it, but I'm sticking to my New Year's resolution, so keep your fingers crossed.

I'm so glad to hear that Bodee is healthy and growing so well. What a relief that must be for you. Can't wait to meet him . . . in a few months.
I think his eyes are definately blue for now!! Jen's eyes changed to hazel when she was 2. Never know! Everyone looks happy! Glad you have had so many visitors:) Wish I was one! Love you!
