Mini-Mark

I will make this a quick post but I just had to share. When Mark and I were putting Dakota to bed tonight, she did something way too cute not to post. Our normal ritual is to read a book, say our prayers and then she can watch a movie with her puppy Kai. Well tonight, after her prayers, she told her dad she needed her bow & arrow that she got for Christmas. When Mark asked her why, she said "so I can shoot the mean man with the horns on his head." (aka Bambi's dad) It was quite the proud moment for Mark as he realized Dakota would be a great hunting buddy for him in the future. I went back in with the camera and asked her to show me what she was going to do to the buck...and here was her response! She is such a freakin cool kiddo!And yes, she is wearing a dress to bed with pajama pants. The battles we fight continue to increase and what she wears to bed is the least of our worries :)!!!

And on a side note...Mark was supposed to head out today but he got a call early this morning letting us know that he wouldn't be leaving until Friday or Saturday. Soooo, one more day together and possibly two. While it is great to get the extra time, dragging it out is always hard too. We are ready to get this deployment going so it can be over with. More to come as soon as we know!
