Bodee has been quite content lately to just lay around and he hasn't made much effort in the area of rolling over. Normally when Bodee wakes up, he just kind of lets out a little wimper (lucky I know) and I go into his room to find him playing. Yesterday, when he woke up from a nap, he was screaming a muffled scream. So, I went in there thinking I would find him covered in his blanket...Nope...he was on his belly and ANGRY :). He hasn't mastered coming back over just yet but he can't seem to get enough of rolling onto his belly. He gets mad every time so I am surprised he keeps at it. You will notice in the video, Dakota loves watching him roll over so she's always right there to help him get back on his back.
As for little Miss Dakota...well, she has taken even more steps in the direction of complete independance. She no longer waits for me to make her meals and snacks :). She told me the other day she was gonna make herself a quesadilla so I thought I would watch to see exactly what she did. She got out the tortilla..opened up a piece of cheese and placed it in the middle...jumped up on the counter and got a paper towel...and put it in the microwave. I watched carefully to make sure it didn't get cooked for 90 minutes and she pushed 2-0-start. We use that time for most of what we put in the microwave so I'm glad she remembered. Anyway, 20 seconds later, tadahhhhh, our version of a quesadilla. And today, it was a cheese sandwish...complete with Miracle Whip. I can't believe how grown up she is. She is such an amazing little girl. This is just a recent picture...she is starting to get a little jealous that I am taking so many pics of Bodee so she pulled the camera in her face and said cheese...so I snapped one of her :).

That's so funny! That's how it all started with Carter and now he's moved on to eating the rails of his crib :) Dakota is such a great big sister!
I love the video. He looks like he is going to be crawling soon. Dakota is such a cutie!
