Piece of Cake...

For all of you that were wondering how my trip to Utah went with the two kiddos...these pics are for you.

The first flight was a little iffy but Dakota was good for the most part and Bodee only fussed a bit. I wouldn't have even cared much if we hadn't been sitting right behind first class. It always makes me laugh when they do that. Then, we got to spend a little over an hour in Dallas with my mom, dad, Brenda and Aunt Dorothy so it was a great little break. These pictures were taken on the flight from Dallas to Salt Lake...and yes, they stayed this way the entire flight. Dakota only woke up as we were landing because I wanted her to see the snow-capped mountains :). You will see that she tried several different positions but never quite looked comfortable. Didn't seem to bother her much though!

It snowed this morning so Dakota is in absolute heaven. She has been super cute with Grammy and Grampy and Bodee is just taking it all in. I am so excited for the entire family to get to finally meet our little superhero!! The only thing that would make the trip any better is if dad could have been with us. We will do it again in November when he gets home!

And just fyi...I pondered changing the tone of this post because I just know that by me bragging about how well the kids did on the trip...that I am setting myself up for an eventful flight home. Please say a little prayer for me next Tuesday :)
