Dakota was super sick on Monday...103 fever and throwing up everything she put in her stomach. After testing negative for the flu, the doc said she probably just had some sort of bug. I was amazed when she was all better by Tuesday night. I had felt bad because my sister is here now and I really wanted to get her out and show her around the wonderful town of Jacksonville :). Well, yesterday we were finally able to get out. We went to the beach on base and Dakota and Mariah rummaged through the seashells. Dakota would pick up one and say, "look guys, it's beautiful" and then throw it into the ocean. She normally fills huge buckets up when she goes but I guess this time, she was content in just putting them back in the ocean.

Then we went to the Southwest Strawberry Farm and let Dakota pick a bucket of Strawberries. We had seen the signs last year but obviously they were out of season...and since Dakota has such an amazing memory, she hasn't let me forget about it. She had a lot of fun picking them with her Aunt Riah :). When we got home, she probably would have eaten every last one of them if we hadn't stopped her.

I am so glad Dakota is feeling better. She looks great! You look great! Bodee is so cute trying to eat the strawberry. The strawberry pickin looked like a fun day.
