Ice Skating

Dakota had her first Ice-Skating experience and the look on her face in the pictures says it all. She was not too fond of her first time...she was cold and just didn't like how unstable she felt. It didn't help that mom isn't so stable herself so we put on quite the show. She says now that she wants to do it again but during the event, she was not a happy camper.

Here is Dakota after getting her skates on...she was freezing (mom left the jacket at home) so she had to steal Bodee's blanket. He didn't complain too much!

It looks like I'm trying to teach Dakota how to hold onto the wall when in actuality, I'm using it too LOL. ;)

This is how we would skate. It was hard to get her to keep her feet together so her legs were going all over the place. I got a good arm workout that day.

Dakota's face is kind of blurry here but she is kicking her feet out and slipping around. All I could do is laugh as I tried to keep both of us from bustin it!

By the end, she was actually braving the wall all by herself!
