I was thinking that Dakota and I were planning to have a water balloon "fight." She had asked if we could play water balloons and silly me thought that meant we would throw them at eachother. Nope, it meant she wanted to throw them in the grass and watch them break. I guess I can't blame her...she's never been schooled in the proper water balloon "playing" techniques. I took care of that on this day. She started throwing them in the grass so I threw a couple at her...she was instantly upset and didn't want to play that way. Until.....I lined myself up in front of her and told her to have at it. She loved throwing them at me and has quite an arm on her. At the end, I walked up behind her and busted one over her head. She turned around really quick...ready to be mad at me...and saw that I got most of the water on myself...and started laughing with me. Phewww.....could have ruined any further water ballooning activity. Here are some pics from the event :).
We are ready...(she may have already had one busted at her feet LOL)
You can see the balloon in mid air...she is throwing them at my backside :)
We had to play catch with this one because they were running out
Right over her head...I got most of the splash however
She saved this balloon...named it "grassy"...and tries to sleep with it every night. I sneak in there and put "grassy" on the book shelf after Dakota falls asleep.

you two are having so much fun.
Lol, looks like fun. And love the picture of her and Bodee. Too cute.
The confusion about "water balloon fights" is probably my fault. When I was there last summer, we played with water balloons....but she didn't like getting wet, so we had a contest to see who could throw them in the air the highest and watched them pop on the grass. Glad you two had so much fun. Can't wait to join in!!!!!
