On November 23rd, 2008 Bodee Mark Vierig was born with a left-sided Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). CDH is a life-threatening birth defect that occurs in approximately 1 in every 2500 live births and has a 50% survival rate. It involves a hole in the diaphragm of the fetus that allows intestinal organs to herniate into the chest cavity and therefore compresses the developing lungs. Please read our blog to see Bodee's amazing fight against CDH!

This is great news! Just 30 more cc's to go! Cute pics :)
I can't believe how much he has changed! My vote for eyes is dark brown like mom and uncle Jamison. (Can't forget grandpa's and other family members with dark eyes.) Hugs and kisses!
Kellie sent me the link to your blog a while back and I have been following it and Carter's daily. I am so glad to see and hear that Bodee is doing well. I pray for him and Carter everyday in the hopes that they will both be home by Christmas.

Thanks for keeping us all updated! Bodee's eyes reminded me of Aunt Dell's, she always wanted a brown eyed baby but never got one. Dakota is getting so big and grown up, wow what a great big sister she is. Take care of each other and know that you all are still in our prayers. Love you!
Hello. I found your blog through Kellie's blog. My prayers are with you and your beautiful baby. My son also has CDH and he is a survivor. If you want an invite to see our blog please email me to maferarceamare@gmail.com
Hugs,
