Playdough used to be enough for my little girl, but now apparently it has to be edible as well. Mimi and Papa showed up with some peanut butter clay that Dakota has thoroughly enjoyed. Papa even made her a worm and she ate it up like it was nothing. Papa makes elephants and snowmen, Mimi makes whales (that are yummy) daddy made a rhinoceros and when I asked what Dakota was making, they said rocks, donuts and pancakes! Too cute.
You can also see by the pictures that Papa and Mimi spend a lot of time with Dakota outside at the "farm." Dakota is quite bossy with telling Mimi and Papa exactly where they need to be while she climbs the climbing wall and slides down the slide.
Dakota's schedule has been way off but we still try to read her a story each night and say prayers with her before she passes out. Mimi brought her some new "jajamas" and I put her to bed with a book that has the "Dumpty Dumpty" nursery rhyme in it. She continues to come up with some funny sayings and we will try to keep you updated on as many as we can remember!
