...This is a big boy bed. Bodee is now officially in a baby crib that has much more space. Not that more space is what he needed but more space is what we needed to be able to maneuver him around, change his diaper and swaddle him up. Sooooo, this should be his last bed change. Everything is still going great. He had his Broviac Catheter taken out so he officially isn't hooked up to anything anymore...just the normal stat monitors to keep track of his heartrate, temp, respirations & blood oxygen level. We don't feel like we have to be quite so careful with him anymore when picking him up and holding him. He has been put on an "every other feeding" schedule for the bottle so that he doesn't get too worked up all day long trying to eat. He is still slow at taking all of his food by bottle but he sure tries hard! He just gets too tired to keep trying and gives up after about 30 cc's now. They want him taking his full 60 every feeding through the bottle. We are definitely making progress though!
Mimi and Papa are still hard at work entertaining Dakota. We finally got some great pics of Papa holding little Bodee too. This is one of the 3 generations of Vierig boys and another of the proud Papa snuggling with little man.
A few people have commented on and asked about what color we think Bodee's eyes will be. Yesterday, I would have said brown, today...well, take a look and let me know what you think...
