Today Bodee-man is 9 months old. I've posted a lot of pics that tell the story of his 9th month and the things he's accomplished during it. He's really changed a ton this past month and is really starting to have a cute little personality. He's sleeping through the night consistently now and goes to bed at 8 and is up by 6:30. Not real fond of the wake up time but I will take it over the waking up every 2 - 3 hours :). We've moved from #2 baby foods into #3's and he seems to be grasping the whole "chewing / smooshing" the chunky foods. He gets bits of bread, cheese, tortillas, crackers etc and gets really excited when he see's them come out. He stares at absolutely everything we eat and gets noticeably upset when he doesn't get a taste. He's got the Irish temper in him like his sister so it is very clear how he feels most of the time. He is getting better about letting others hold him but he still keeps one eye on mom or sister. His 9 month appointment isn't until the second of September so I will update his stats at that time. I'm anxious to see how his weight is doing as I've been feeling lately like my milk supply is decreasing. I've been giving him formula after a couple of feeds to see if he's still hungry. He takes a little bit of it but then acts full. Soooo, we will see after the appointment. I may start weining him and transfering to formula if he hasn't gained much weight. Here are just a "few" of the new things we encountered with him this past month!
-Stylin in sisters shades

-Pulling up on things (this is how I find him now when he wakes up)

-Drinking from a straw (you just tell him to "take a drink" and he dives in :)

-Grunting: he grunts at me when I am too slow in getting him his food LOL. His newest thing now, is that if I grunt at him, he will grunt back. He also does this with coughing, clearing your throat, or clicking your tongue. It's cool to see him interact :)

Eating sand
(the solution to eating sand...his very own mini-tent - $3 garage sale score)
-Lemon Sucking

-Crawling on all fours
-Standing (for a few seconds at a time...or until he gets so excited that he flails his arms and throws himself off balance LOL) Obviously I don't have any pictures of that because I need all the hands I can get when his balance goes :)
After typing up this post, I couldn't believe how much he has changed and accomplished just in one month. I smile and laugh daily at both of our kiddos...they are such a joy and I am amazed at how quickly they are both growing up!

What an amazing little boy you've got there...reminds me of the both of you...ready to take on a challenge! I guess that's a requirement for being a Viereg. ;o)
Dakota is such a little cutie...amazing how fast she is growing up.
Must be hard taking care of the two of them without Mark around to take up the slack sometimes but you are looking good and I know you're up to it.

Wow! He is doing so much. Can't believe it :) Is that a mohawk I spy in that beach tent pic?
Your kiddos are so adorable! You are so blessed! Love ya, girl!
Wow, he looks fantastic! And is super cute! He's doing so well, I cannot believe it that he is pulling himself up! Well done litte one!
Congrats on being able to sleep through the night. There must be something about breastfeeding boys, two of my friends still wake up 2-3 times/ night and their little ones are 9 and 12 months. We hope that Mark is well and are looking forward to hearing more about your appointment.
