Mikes Farm Field Trip

Dakota's class was going to Mike's Farm and I signed up to go as well. I dropped off Bodee with Danielle down the street and was excited to spend the morning with my little girl. It was so fun to see her with her friends...acting silly. The Primary teachers at church always talk about how quiet she is...and we all know that's not the real Dakota. Today, she was the real her :).
We took a hayride first...Dakota brougt along her stuffed pet Hamster...she was cold (hence the warm spot in her jacket)
The hayride stopped off at the pumpkin patch...now to find the perfect one...
After looking at all 20 flowers in the patch first, she finally decided on one.
Dakota and her friend Maile
Dakota's prize pumpkin
on the hayride back...back to being silly...
Dakota waiting patiently to learn how Apple Cider was made in the old days.
Doin some sort of funky chicken dance at the Cowboy Earl show.
checkin out the goat's horns
and feeding one some corn

Mike's Farm is an amazing place and has seasonal events year round. Dakota and I had a blast...I really need to do more things with just her since the Bodester is demanding less and less of my time :).
